My name is Antonina Mavropoulou.

I am a licensed guide (license of the Greek Ministry of Tourism 06ΣΞ02940Ε1), a graduate of the Academy of Greek Guides under the Ministry of Tourism.
I have extensive experience as a guide and have conducted more than 1000 excursions throughout Greece.
I have Greek roots, and I feel a special connection with this country. This led me to the decision to dedicate my life to studying the culture, history, language and traditions of Greece.
According to my first diploma, I am a philologist and teacher of Greek and English. I have 20 years of experience in translation and teaching Greek. For 4 years I studied Greek folk dances at the prestigious Greek school "Dora Stratou".
I conduct excursions mainly in Athens and its environs.

At the same time, I often practice off-site excursions:

• Peloponnese (Mycenae, Nafplio, Epidaurus, Ancient Corinth, Ancient Olympia).
• Islands (Mykonos, Evia, Aegina, Kefalonia, etc.)
• Central Greece (Meteora, Delphi)

I offer unique non-tourist routes, my signature excursions for children, pilgrimage tours, food tours and shopping tours. I always give recommendations on how to spend leisure time in Greece (museums, events, cafes,
restaurants, beaches, etc.). I am fond of photography, so I will always suggest the best angles and the most Instagrammable views for photos.
